Sometimes We Dance Alone

I co-wrote this with the wonderful George Wurzbach. We’ve written a lot of “out” songs together – just add this to the stack. The lovely vocal is by Nashville/Christian artist Rachel Robinson (she has a wonderful group with her two sisters called “Three Lanes Crossing.”

The Last First Ball

Len Handler & Michael Mugrage

What was it like to see the last time the Dodgers played in Brooklyn? To see the “first pitch” for the last time at Ebbett’s Field? Back in a time when our heroes would never desert us!

Antique Store

Written by Len Handler & George Wurzbach

This is one of those “out” tunes I wrote with George Wurzbach, but I’ve always loved the story. A couple walks into an antique store, and in the back on a shelf is a 100 year-old photo of a young couple. The shoppers have a hard-time getting past the age and stiffness of the photo, and it made me wonder what they were really like, stripped of the confines of their photograph and frame. The demo is by George.
